PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller in which a stress is not easily exerted on a display panel even when an external force is applied to a case or a dial plate of the controller. SOLUTION: The remote controller is provided with: a printed circuit board 6 including an infrared ray emitting element 8 and a control element 17; the dial plate 2; the display panel 1; a case 3 containing the printed circuit board 6 and the display panel 1; and a support holder 11 for fixing the display panel 2 to the printed circuit board 6, and a part of the support holder 11 is interposed between the dial plate 2 and the display panel 1, and even when an external force is applied to the case 3, the support holder 11 prevents the external force from being directly delivered to the display panel. Further, even when an external force is applied to the dial plate 2, a gap formed between the dial plate 2 and the display panel 1 by the presence of the support holder 11 avoids a stress from being directly exerted on the display panel 1.
