PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary operation device that suppresses the deviation of the center of a through bearing hole even if a manufacturing error exists in the arrangement pitch or the width of a protrusion or the like of an engaging member for positioning a lid member having the through bearing hole. SOLUTION: The rotary operation device is constituted of a base member 1, a rotary member 6 supported by the base member 1, a lid member 10 having the through hole for defining the rotational center of the rotary member 6 and fixed to the base member 1, and the engaging member composed of a combination of a concaved groove formed between the base member 1 and the lid member 10 and a protrusion capable of being fit in the concaved groove.
