PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology by which reliability of an optical pickup feeding mechanism can be secured, in an optical disk apparatus. SOLUTION: When a guide feed moving the optical pickup moves the optical pickup to the most outer peripheral position or the most inner peripheral position of the disk in a state in which a first part guiding movement of the guide feed member is stopped to move, further a lead screw member is rotated and a rack part in a second part coupled to the first part through a hinge part is moved, the second part is abutted to an abutting member of a fixed side, displacement of the second part based on movement of the rack part is suppressed within the prescribed range by the abutting, especially, damage of the hinge part is prevented.
