PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the addition of an arbitrary element to and the deletion of an arbitrary element from a physical model used in a simulation system, and execute a more accurate simulation. SOLUTION: A physical model creation apparatus for creating a physical model of a controlled object for use in a simulation of a system comprising a controlled object including mechanical parts and a controller for controlling the controlled object is configured to create physical model data for physical model creation, from 3D-CAD data on a controlled object created by 3D-CAD that is three-dimensional image creation software and information necessary for 3D animation display of the controlled object, change the physical model data by adding data necessary for simulation or deleting unnecessary data, and create a physical model of the controlled object from the changed physical model data.
