PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arrival direction prediction apparatus which can increase the number of predictable arrival direction of coherent waves using the CUBA-MUSIC method. SOLUTION: The arrival direction prediction apparatus 100 comprises an array antenna 20, directivity switching means 30, and direction prediction means 40. The array antenna 20 comprises circularly disposed antenna elements 1 to 12 on which varactor diodes are installed. The directivity switching means 30 supplies the twelve varactor diodes with a set of control voltage CVL1 to CVL12 to switch the directivity of the array antenna 20. The direction prediction means 40 performs discrete Fourier transformation on a receive signal b<SB>i</SB>(nθ<SB>0</SB>) from the array antenna 20, calculates a correlative matrix representing correlation among a plurality of coherent waves using the spatial averaging method and the MUSIC method, and performs eigenvalue factorization on the calculated correlative matrix to predict the arrival direction of the coherent waves.
