METHOD OF INFORMATION REFERENCE FOR APPEARANCE DEVELOPMENT OF STEEL STRIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for referring to the data of the appearance extend elevation of a steel strip, when the operator enters the flaw data found out by the visual inspection of the steel strip to the appearance development, displayed on the screen of a flaw recording apparatus to record the same. SOLUTION: The method of referring to the data of the appearance developed drawing of the steel strip includes a process of measuring the relative position in the longitudinal direction of the steel spring, at a position where the visual inspection of the steel spring is performed and a process of displaying a graphical pointer at the relative position measured in the appearance extend elevation by the measuring processing; and the operator can enter the flaw data, while referring to the display position of the graphical pointer.
