PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply proper tension to cables for opening and closing a sliding door. SOLUTION: A roller assembly 20 is installed in the sliding door via a pin member 50, and this roller assembly 20 is movably guided by a guide rail. The opening side cable 32 and the closing side cable 33 extending from a cable drum are connected to the roller assembly 20, and the sliding door can be opened and closed by rotating the cable drum. Tension mechanisms 55 and 62 are arranged in a connecting part of the cables 32 and 33 and the roller assembly 20. These tension mechanisms 55 and 62 have a sleeve member 56 rockingly installed in the roller assembly 20, a holding member 57 stored in the sleeve member 56 and holding an end part of the cables 32 and 33, and a spring member 60 for pulling in the cables 32 and 33 via the holding member 57.
