PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply, rapidly and inexpensively manufacture a transfer drum with high precision. SOLUTION: A large number of aluminum mold materials 3 are stretched across a pair of end plates 1a and 1b which are coaxially arranged at a predetermined interval in a mutually parallel state over the whole peripheries of the end plates 1a and 1b, and the end parts of the aluminum mold materials 3 are fixed to the end plates 1a and 1b to form a cylindrical drum as a whole so that the outer surfaces of the aluminum mold materials 3 continue in an arcuate state with the butted surfaces spaced apart with each other.
