INJECTION MOULDING PROCESS

A process for making a toothbrush head in which a head part of a toothbrush is enclosed in an injection mould cavity and a thermoplastic elastomer material is injected into the injection mould cavity to thereby form an elastomer material part of the head, in which the mould block is provided with vent means to allow air to vent from the injection mould cavity other than via the primary mould split line. Preferably the vent means comprises a mould block provided with a secondary mould split line.
