The invention relates to a motor vehicle (10) which comprises a hatch-accessible boot (12) and which is equipped with a load-carrying means (14) at the rear of the vehicle (10). When in use, the aforementioned load-carrying means (14) or the contents (18) thereof extend at least partially in front of the access to the boot (12). The invention is characterised in that the boot (12) comprises at least one flap (26) which is mounted such as to move between a closed position in which it closes off at least part of the opening (24) of the boot (12) and an open position in which at least part of the boot (12) is directly accessible when the load-carrying means (14) is in the use position.
