<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress freezing of a fuel cell system by generated water. <P>SOLUTION: When the operation of the fuel cell system is stopped, a shutoff valve 31 installed in a fuel off-gas passage 14 of a fuel gas circulating passage 15 is turned into a closed state and an opening and closing valve 28 installed in a bypass passage 27 and an exhaust valve 21 installed in an exhaust passage 20 for exhausting a fuel off-gas outside are turned into an open state. Further, an existing circulation pump 19 installed in the fuel off-gas passage 14 is operated, and the inside of the fuel gas circulation passage 15 is reduced in pressure and water vapor (generated water) existing in the fuel gas circulation passage 15 is evaporated and exhausted outside through the exhaust passage 20. Thereby, closure of not only the fuel off-gas passage 14 but also the fuel gas circulation passage 15 including a fuel gas passage 13 can be suppressed by the operation of the existing circulation pump. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
