<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light emitting module capable of taking out a light emitted from an LED element at a high efficiency, an illuminator comprising the same, and a method for manufacturing the semiconductor light emitting module. <P>SOLUTION: A reflector 200 has an opening 200h at the center of a portion where an LED bare chip 150 is mounted, and the side wall 200a of the opening 200h has an angle to the thickness direction (a vertical direction in the drawing) of a substrate 100 and has a shape open to the upward direction of the drawing to have a function as an optical reflection face. Further, a projection 200b is continuously formed beneath the side wall 200a of the reflector 200 facing the opening 200h.
