<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a unidirectional electroendomsmotic flow. <P>SOLUTION: In this electroendomsmotic flow cell, at least a bottom face of a flow passage for the electroendomsmotic flow comprises a charged material or a material charge-treated artificially. The flow passage comprises a uniform width of central part, and two end parts serving as the start point and the final point of the flow passage, the central part is continuous from a side part side to the respective end parts, as to its longitudinal direction. The two end parts of a hollow part may be located in the same side or a different side as to the longitudinal direction of the central part, in the electroendomsmotic flow cell. The two flow passage may be formed into a fylfot shape of a crossed type thereof, and the central part may be located nonlinearly between the two end parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
