<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply manufacturing a liquid crystal display device which has no light leakage and no display unevenness in the liquid crystal display and is excellent in quality of the display picture. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device has: a black matrix forming step to form the black matrix fixed on a substrate in a state in which a part of spacer fine particles are buried therein by using a resin composition for the photosetting black matrix containing a resist component, a colorant for the black matrix and the spacer fine particles; a pixel forming step to form the coloring pixels on a region partitioned with the black matrix; an electrode forming step to form a transparent electrode layer on the black matrix and on the coloring pixels; and a removing step to remove the transparent electrode layer formed on the spacer fine particles fixed to the black matrix. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
