<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cell differentiation inducing agent capable of utilizing a cell differentiation inducing ingredient obtained from an unutilized tree material, and having proliferation-suppressing effect especially on leukemic cell and skin cancer cell. <P>SOLUTION: This cell differentiation inducing agent, preferably a leukemic cell differentiation inducing agent or a skin cancer cell differentiation inducing agent comprises a water-soluble and ethyl alcohol-soluble material obtained by combining and mixing a hot water extract of trees of Japan cedar, pine and hinoki with a hot water extract of Plantago asiatica as an active ingredient. The cell differentiation inducing agent of this present invention in which the extraction component or the composition is different from those of a conventional product becomes the cell differentiation inducting agent having the new active ingredient against cancer cells such as leukemic cell and skin cancer cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
