<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus capable of easily enhancing the printing precision. <P>SOLUTION: The printing apparatus 100 produces printing precision information regarding the printing pitch of a printing mark to be printed on a substrate Q1 in a pattern recognition part 300, and outputs the information to a temperature control means 430. The temperature control means 430 obtains the printing precision information, and decides a temperature higher than a set temperature, which is set by a temperature set means 420, as another set temperature for increasing the printing pitch. While, the temperature control means decides a temperature lower than the set temperature, which is set by the temperature set means 420, as another set temperature for decreasing the printing pitch. The temperature control means 430 produces the set temperature information regarding the new set temperature to output the information to the temperature set means 420.
