<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which enables a user to easily select a required function while it possesses many functions. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus (1) divides all the functions into a plurality of selected screens and displays them, and displays a selected screen on a displaying part (17) when the functions are selected. When the required function is not included on the selected screen firstly displayed, the user gives a command for switching of the selected screen through an operating part (16).
