<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new cross cutter apparatus for a flat web. <P>SOLUTION: This cross cutter apparatus (10) for making portions from a printed format endlessly continued in the conveying direction (18) of the printed flat web (16) is characterized by having two cutting units (12, 14) separated from each other in the conveying direction (18) and used for the flat web (16), having stationary knives (24, 34) and rotatable knives (22, 32) rotated on circular routes in the cutting units (12, 14), respectively, assigning motor drivers (26, 36) for achieving rotations to the rotatable knives (22, 32), respectively, and disposing exclusive controllers capable of memorizing reference rotation positions therein for the motor drivers (26, 36), respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
