PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a command control method optimizing a command execution order by restricting an address range serving as an object of the command without equipping the disk device with any special function or adding any special function to a disk access command and to provide a network storage system using this command control method.

SOLUTION: One or more disk devices 913 and 914, which include a request receipt means 110 receiving a file access request from a client and a file system control means 111 converting the request into the disk access command, are connected to this network storage system 103. The network storage system 103 is provided with a command controller 912, which receives a disk command converted by the file system control means 111, classifies information managed by the file system control means 111, and optimizes a command output order for each of the classified commands.
