摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering control device which can ensure favorable running stability even when so-calledμcrossover braking is performed. <P>SOLUTION: From the estimation result of a road surface frictional coefficient to each of a pair of right and left wheels, a braking power difference between the wheels is computed. From the estimation result of the road surface frictional coefficient, slip angle total lateral force characteristics representing the relationship of the slip angle and the total lateral force of the steering objective wheel are set.
