PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a current position of a bus on a portable terminal which a user who uses the bus carries. SOLUTION: The bus 2 detects its own current position and transmits bus travel information including the current position and bus identification information to a bus management server 1 for every fixed time. The bus management server 1 converts the current position of the bus on a map stored in a map data storage part 11 into coordinate data and generates bus data based on the bus travel information transmitted from the bus 2. When the portable terminal 3 does not store the map data, the portable terminal 3 acquires the map data and when the portable terminal 3 stores the map data, it acquires only the bus data.
