<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently recover a Ca-component, raw material for Pb smelting, and raw material for Zn smelting from fly ash. <P>SOLUTION: The treating method for the fly ash has [1] a process (cleaning process) of eluting the Ca-component of the fly ash in water and [2] a process of recovering the eluted Ca-component into a post-cleaning liquid and recovering a solid component as a cleaning residue subjecting the slurry obtained in the cleaning process to a solid-liquid separation. CaCO<SB>3</SB>is obtainable by blowing gaseous CO<SB>2</SB>to the post-cleaning liquid. On the other hand, the cleaning residue contains the Ca-component in a lower level and therefore the Pb-content residue of a low gypsum content is by-produced in a sulfuric acid leaching process and is useful for Pb smelting.
