PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cradle allowing a user to pick up images, while being connected, as it is, with a digital camera, which is not bulky when not in use, and is highly portable. SOLUTION: The cradle 50 comprises a rotary part 60 including a protrusion 52 to be connected to the digital camera 10, and a cradle body 62 for rotatably holding the turning part 60. By rotating the turning part 60 to cause the protrusion 52 to face upward, a photographing lens 12 of the digital camera 10 is exposed forward of the cradle 50. By rotating the turning part 60 to cause the protrusion 52 to face inside the cradle body 62, the digital camera 10 is received in a housing 72 formed on the cradle body 62.
