PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head drive circuit and a magnetic disk drive capable of reliably writing to a magnetic recording disk even when it is swelling by heat and floating at a lower height. SOLUTION: The writing circuit 3 generates write-in voltages Wx, Wy to output based on the inputted signals when write-in data signals Sw are inputted. The write-in voltages Wx, Wy are generated for each magnetic recording sector comprising a preamble section T1, a sink mark section T2 and a user data section T3.
