PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fan capable of preventing a remote control from being left, and lost and of compactly housing the remote control in a remotely operable state. SOLUTION: A remote control housing part 17 for housing a remote control 16 is provided to a supporting part 3 which supports a motor 5 and which is equipped with a control part 31. Storage of the remote control 16 in the housing part 17 prevents the remote control from being left and lost. When housing the remote control 16, the operation surface 18 of the remote control 16 is flush with or is protruded from the upper surface of the supporting part 3. Therefore, remote operation can be carried out from the exposed operation surface 18 of the remote control 16 with the remote control 16 housed. Moreover, the concentration of dust and dirt on the operation surface 18 of the remote control 16 can be prevented so as to enhance sanitariness. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
