PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayered nonwoven fabric having a high base weight and a soft front surface layer and a back surface layer in which fibers are mutually joined by interlacing without mixing foreign materials such as hot melt or a paste and provided with sufficient peel strength in all the interlayers. SOLUTION: The multilayered nonwoven fabric 1 is composed of the front surface nonwoven fabric layer 2A in which fibers are mutually bound by interlacing, the back surface nonwoven fabric layer 2B in which the fibers are mutually joined by interlacing and a plurality of intermediate nonwoven fabric layers 5 interposed between the front surface nonwoven fabric layer 2A and the back surface nonwoven fabric layer 2B and containing heat fusible fibers. The laminated interfaces among the front surface nonwoven fabric layer 2A, the back surface nonwoven fabric layer 2B and the adjacent next intermediate nonwoven fabric layers 3A and 3B are joined by interlacing of the mutual fibers. The laminated interfaces among the mutual intermediate nonwoven fabric layers 3A, 4A, 4B and 3B are joined by fusion of the mutual heat fusible fibers. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
