PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment masterbatch having excellent pigment dispersibility and remarkably improving the production efficiency when a polyester molded product is produced. SOLUTION: The pigment masterbatch is obtained by dispersing an inorganic pigment and/or an organic pigment in a polylactic acid resin containing 70-100 mass% of lactic acid residues in (95/5) to (5/95) molar ratio (L/D) of the L-lactic acid residues to the D-lactic acid residues in the lactic acid residues and having 0.1-1.0 dL/g reduced viscosity. The acid value of the polylactic acid resin is preferably 10-80 equivalents/10<SP>6</SP>g of the pigment masterbatch. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
