PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for spraying a sex pheromone, capable of simply spraying a slightly volatile substance, such as the sex pheromone, into the air in a necessary concentration, and to provide a method for controlling a noxious insect utilizing the same. SOLUTION: This method for spraying the slightly volatile substance comprises discharging a slightly volatile substance-containing composition by using a droplet discharging apparatus, wherein the composition contains the liquid slightly volatile substance, such as the sex pheromone, and a solvent of which the volatility is higher than that of the slightly volatile substance.
