PAPER TERMINAL END DETECTION MECHANISM FOR PRINTER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein the number of remained paper with non-printing depending on length of the page of the used paper is increased and waste is generated in a paper terminal end position detection mechanism wherein a distance from the printing position to the paper terminal end detection position is constant as conventional. SOLUTION: The paper terminal end detection mechanism is provided with a hammer mechanism part having a plurality of dot printing hammers arranged at a predetermined pitch along a printing line; a shuttle mechanism part for reciprocating the hammer mechanism part in a line direction; a printing mechanism part having a paper feed mechanism for conveying printing paper in a direction perpendicular to the printing line; a box body becoming a base for retaining the printing mechanism part; and an optical sensor arranged at a continuous paper introduction part below the printing part and detecting the terminal end of the printing paper.
