PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder for packaging a lamp for preventing oscillations of or damages to the lamp, when either a horizontal directed U-shaped or U-shaped lamp is put in a box and transported. SOLUTION: This holder 1 for packaging a lamp is used for holding a plurality of lamps 2, having legs 3 composed of two spaced-apart tubes and connectors 4 to which the tubes are connected. The holder 1 comprises a lamp protecting box 7, a first lamp-holding part 8 and a second lamp-holding part 9. The first lamp-holding part 8 has a structure, in which it is arranged inside the legs 3 of the lamp 2 to cause the lamp 2 to be pressed against the inner surface of the lamp protecting box 7. The lamp protecting box 7 and the second lamp holding part 9 have a structure for restricting the motion of the lamp 2 in the longitudinal direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
