PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device and an image forming system capable of recognizing the smudged or damaged state of a conveyance means of an endless-circular conveying belt of the image formation device mounted with an ink-jet recording mechanism. SOLUTION: A conveyance-state detection means capable of detecting the state of the conveyance means of the endless-circular conveying belt is mounted in the vicinity of a carriage. The state of damage collected by the detection means is preserved in a storing means. By changing the control information or the like relating to the detection means as well as conveyance ones according to the smudge or damage state of the conveyance means, the detection accuracy as well as conveyance one of the recording paper can be farther enhanced.
