PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage initiated at the bottom part of a core material in a chisel with a core. SOLUTION: Molten metal is poured into the bottom part of an axial hole provided in the axial direction of a chisel body, and the core material in a cooled and contracted state is inserted in the axial hole during the fused state of the metal. The molten metal is formed completely along the shape of the bottom part of the core material and solidified to prevent the breakage of the chisel body resulting from local concentration of force caused by mismatching of shape between the core material and the axial hole bottom part.
