<p>A wheel support structure, comprising a wheel rotating while supporting a vehicle body and a rotating body rotatable only in a direction opposite to the direction of rotation of the wheel according to the forward movement of the vehicle body. The rotating shaft of the wheel and the rotating shaft of the rotating body are disposed generally parallel with each other, and the rotating shaft of the rotating body is disposed on the rear upper side of the rotating shaft of the wheel in the forward movement direction of the wheel. The rotating shaft of the wheel is movable between a reference position where the rotating shaft is moved forward to such a degree that the peripheral face of the wheel is separated from the peripheral face of the rotating body and a contact position where the peripheral face of the wheel is brought into contact with the peripheral face of the rotating body and also movable in an arc shape about the rotating shaft of the rotating body while allowing the peripheral face of the wheel to come into contact with the peripheral face of the rotating body.</p> |
