PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of automatically setting the selection of an optical element and imaging processing to meet desired video expression. SOLUTION: A rotating revolver type imaging lens part 12 is provided on the front of a digital camera 11. The lens part 12 can rotate centering a rotary shaft by motor-driving. A plurality of changeover lenses are disposed on the circumference of the lens part 12. A 1-power ordinary lens, a 1.5-power teleconverter lens, a 3-power teleconverter lens, a wide-angle lens or a wide converter lens, a macro lens or a close-up lens, a color filter, a PL polarizing filter and a UV cut filter are disposed as the changeover lenses.
