PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte that is high in conductivity and is made high in chemical convertability and heat resistance, and has a long service life; and to provide an aluminum electrolytic capacitor using the same. SOLUTION: The aluminum electrolytic capacitor is formed by winding an anode foil 11 and a cathode foil 12 with a separator 13 containing an electrolyte 14 for driving in between. The electrolyte 14 is composed of a solar solvent, a solute containing one or more kind of an inorganic acid, an organic acid, an inorganic acid salt, and an organic acid salt, and a random copolymer of polyoxyethylene and polyoxypropylene that has a hydroxyl group and a hydrogen group at its end, and the separator 13 is formed by piling up the lamination of a cellulosic fiber mixed paper and a cellulosic fiber paper and a cotton linter.
