PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a furfural-containing bamboo extract which contains furfural at a high concentration by using bamboo. SOLUTION: This production method for the furfural-containing bamboo extract comprises a grinding step wherein the bamboo is ground into powder 10 and an autoclaving step wherein the bamboo powder 10 obtained in the grinding step is introduced into an autoclave tank 1 and internal temperature is kept at 140-190°C for 1-5 hr by feeding heated and pressurized steam into the autoclave tank 1 to separate the furfural-containing bamboo extract.
