PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrodeposition coating composition that comprises pigment, especially inorganic pigment and has excellent settling stability and to provide an electrodeposition coating system using the coating composition. SOLUTION: The electrodeposition coating composition comprises (a) a pigment anti-settling agent selected from the group consisting of a fatty acid, a fatty acid derivative, an amine compound and a mixture composed of one or more kinds of them and (b) pigment.
