PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with the preformation of a linear groove to an unvulcanized tread rubber to effectively prevent the wall thickness reduction of an interposed rubber at the part corresponding to the peripheral groove of a product tire and/or to prevent the wall thickness reduction of the interposed rubber layer in the region corresponding to the side part of a belt without narrowing the degree of freedom of the planning of the tire. SOLUTION: In molding a green tire equipped with a carcass 1, a belt 2 and the tread rubber 5 arranged to the outer peripheral side of the belt 2 through a belt reinforcing layer 4, the thickness of the interposed rubber layer 3 arranged between the belt 2 and the belt reinforcing layer 4 is made larger than another part in the part corresponding to the peripheral groove 8 formed to the tread part 5 so as to be continued in the circumferential direction of the tread part 5 and the region corresponding to the side part of the belt.
