PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of positively cleaning a floor face near a wall while not blowing away dust on the floor face off the wall. SOLUTION: A suction port base 2 sized to project both ends in a width direction X from both width direction ends of a cleaner body 1 is connected in a floor face travelable manner to the cleaner body 1 travelable on the floor face 3. A rotary brush 13 having a horizontal axis is stored in the suction port base 2, and dust on the floor face 3 scraped up forward by the brush 13 is sucked by a suction port 11 and discharged. Both ends in the axial direction of the rotary brush 13 are provided with wall side brushes 24 rotated simultaneously with the rotary brush 13, and arrayed floor face cleaning bristle parts 24b2 of the wall side brushes 24 are provided on an inclined line C2 displaced into a delay position from a rotating direction advance position of a brush shaft 24A, to collect dust on the floor face 3 toward the rotary brush 13.
