The valve arrangement in a hydraulic circuit has a L-shaped channel guide which is formed by a longitudinal channel (3) in a stationary component and a transverse channel (2) connected to it and in which moves a throttle (10) in the direction of the longitudinal channel according to the position of a pilot valve. The pilot valve responds to a defined threshold pressure of the hydraulic fluid flowing through the L-shaped channel guide, and the length adjustment of the throttle is effected through the influence of the hydraulic fluid entering inside it. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a use for the valve arrangement which is in the closed circuit of a hydraulic drive; and (B) a system for the controlling of a vehicle's hydraulic drive incorporating the aforesaid valve arrangement.
