SYSTEM FOR TRANSFERRING COMMUNICATION USAGE RIGHT, COMMUNICATION TERMINAL, AND COMMUNICATION PROVIDER

To transfer a communication usage right from a communication terminal A (110) to another communication terminal B (120), the transferer communication terminal A (110) issues a usage right transfer certificate. A communication provider (130) gives a permission of communication to the transferee communication terminal B (120). The usage-right transfer certificate is transmitted from the communication terminal A (110) to the communication terminal B (120), from which it is transmitted to the communication provider (130). The usage right certificate contains a time limit. Therefore unless the usage right certificate is updated, the usage right held by the communication terminal B (120) is automatically expired at the expiration of time limit. The system enables that a communication user contract held by a communication terminal can be used by another communication terminal. A terminal holding a user contract is unnecessary to directly communicate with a communication provider.
