A method of growing winter barley on irrigated lands involves basic soil cultivation, application of mineral fertilizers under winter irrigation and in early spring onto thawed and frozen soil, irrigation, sowing, vegetative irrigation prior to ear formation, treatment of plants at the stage of ear formation with fungicides and insecticides, cultivation of fields and harvesting.
