PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To non-conventionally provide many kinds of choices on aquarium fishes, and to sequentially execute a genetic recombination technique to make the aquarium fishes by a much quick and inexpensive means.

SOLUTION: A new gene fragment. A method for making a transgenic fish originated from the gene fragment. The new transgenic fish made by the method. A new method for making the new aquarium fish comprises mating the transgenic fish with a fish having a phenotype or behavioral pattern different from those of the transgenic fish. The consequently obtained transgenic fish exhibits a phenotype or behavioral pattern different from those of both the parents. The new aquarium fish obtained by the method.
