<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing medium preventing a locking state of a CPU, a data communication system, and a data communication method. <P>SOLUTION: When intensity of electromagnetic waves emitted from a reading device or a reading and writing device is greater than a designated value, sufficient energy is supplied to circuits 5, 6, and 26 having an influence on a communication distance. When energy supplied from the reading device or the reading and writing device to the information processing medium is lower than a designated value, a power source supplied to the circuits 5, 6, and 26 having an influence on a communication distance is stopped. Consequently, insufficient supply of energy to the circuits 5, 6, and 26 having an influence on a communication distance is not carried out, and the locking state of the CPU 2 is prevented. By reducing the amount of energy absorbed by the information processing medium, the communication distance is extended in response to such an extent, since contraction of a remote distance radiation pattern of a radio wave emitted from the reading device or the reading and writing device is lessened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
