摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum-ceramic junction substrate and the manufacturing method thereof whereby the crystal grains of the aluminum-silicon-based alloy of an aluminum alloy member joined to a ceramic substrate can be brought into a very fine state. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method has a process for disposing a ceramic substrate 10 in a casting mold, a process for so injecting thereafter into the casting mold the molten metal of an aluminum-silicon-based alloy containing silicon of 0.1-1.5 wt. % and boron of 0.03-0.10 wt. % as to contact the molten metal with at least one surface of the ceramics substrate 10, a process for solidifying the molten metal of the aluminum-silicon-based alloy by cooling it, and a process for contacting directly an aluminum alloy member 12 with the ceramic substrate 10 to join them to each other.
