AIRTIGHT COMPONENT AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airtight component and a manufacturing method of the same which does not cause the generation of outgassing and a crack of an adhesive, does not use environmental load substances, and does not complicate a sealing process. SOLUTION: A base body 2 having a through hole 3 and an airtight glass plate 1 obtained by sealing the through hole are provided. An inner peripheral surface formed of a part of the base body and the glass plate 1 abut on each other, and the glass plate is held airtightly by the base body by a stretching force in an outer peripheral direction included in the glass plate.
