PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas compressor capable of changing a separation rate of lubricating oil from refrigerant in accordance with rotation speed of a rotary body of a compression mechanism. SOLUTION: A cylindrical storage part 44 storing a filter member 42 for separating lubricating oil from refrigerant gas and having an arc-like wall face 48 for generating swirl in refrigerant gas compressed by the compression mechanism 14 and guided into one end part 42a of the filter member 42 is formed in such a way that its inside diameter is reduced from one end part 42a toward the other end part 42b of the filter member 42.
