PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muffler capable of preventing corrosion. SOLUTION: The muffler M is provided with a muffler main body 1, an exhaust gas introduction pipe introducing exhaust gas into the muffler main body 1, an exhaust pipe 3 meandering in the muffler main body 1 and projecting out of the muffler main body 1 to lead exhaust gas introduced into the muffler main body to outside, a first and a second support member 4, 5 provided in the muffler main body 1 and supporting the exhaust pipe 3 in the muffler main body 1. The muffler main body 1 is divided into a first chamber X and a second chamber Y by the first support member 4, the second chamber Y is divided into a second' chamber Y<SB>1</SB>and a second " chamber Y<SB>2</SB>by a second support member 5, one end of openings of the exhaust pipe 3 is positioned in the first chamber X and the exhaust pipe 3 meandering in the muffler main body 1 is positioned in at least the second ' chamber Y<SB>1</SB>and the second " chamber Y<SB>2</SB>, the first chamber X, a plurality of opening parts 31 exist in the exhaust pipe 3 positioned in the second ' chamber Y<SB>1</SB>, and acoustic material 7 is provided to cover the plurality of opening parts 31.
