PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant resin paste which has rheological characteristics excellent in screen printability and excels in the surface flatness of a prepared resin film therefrom, and an efficient manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: The heat-resistant resin paste has a viscosity at 25°C of 10-1,000 Pa s and a thixotropic coefficient of 1.2-10.0, and the surface irregularities of a resin film having a thickness of≥50μm and obtained by heat drying or by heat drying and curing after coating thereof is≤10μm. In manufacturing this heat-resistant resin paste, enlarged particles in the paste can be efficiently removed by pressure filtration with a filter of 300-3,000 meshes using a piston-inserted pressure filter in the manufacturing final step.
