PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer composition excellent in flexural strength, thermal deformation deflection temperature, and gas barrier properties, and furthermore a polymer composition which maintains transparency by using an amorphous polymer. SOLUTION: The polymer composition comprises (a) 70-99.5 pts. wt. polymer obtained by polymerizing a monomer having a carbon-carbon unsaturated bond and (b) 0.05-30 pts. wt. boehmite alumina which has a crystal size of 1-1,000 nm and has been modified with an organic acid. In some cases, the polymer composition further contains 0.05-30 pts. wt. dispersant, based on 100 pts. wt. polymer composition comprising (a) and (b). COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
